NLinBusiness, proud sponsor of NABC’s Africa Works!, is honoured to cooperate with Witteveen + Bos and MVO Nederland for two workshops on ‘Building with people’.
The workshop in the morning (#1) will be about defining social inclusion. During an interactive session, Mrs. Jacobiene Ritsema and Mr. Steven Trijsburg will elaborate on their ‘social impact assessment tool’. This tool helps designers, urban planners, engineers, NGO’s and local representatives of o.a. vulnerable groups in African urban areas to become aware of the impact and effects that projects have on the local population.
During this session, participants will help to define interests and impacts important for the local population when working on a project (e.g. placing a water well or dredging a port(area). And how these interests and impacts can be included in the design-phase of a project.
